Who We Are
What We Believe
“Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness;
tremble before Him, all the earth!” (Psalm 96:9 ESV)
We are a community of people united by our faith in Jesus Christ
as the Savior of all who trust and follow him.
We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention,
and are part of the Steel Valley Baptist Association.
We are a small church that gathers to worship and serve a Great God, through corporate worship, the reading, study, and preaching of the Word of God, prayer, mutual support in the journey of faith, and the proclamation of the Good News of Jesus both locally and globally.
We believe that
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, His fully-sufficient guide for knowing Who He is, His plan for the world, and how we can know Him and live to please Him;
We believe in one God, Who is holy, eternal,
all-powerful, and all-knowing;
That He exists in three equal persons:
God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth;
And Jesus Christ His only Son, Our Lord;
who was born by the Holy Spirit
of the Virgin Mary, was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
and was buried.
The third day He rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven; and
Now sits on the right hand of the Father; from there He shall come
to judge the living and the dead;
and the Holy Spirit,
We believe that there is one holy church, consisting of all persons of all time who have been redeemed by faith in God’s mercy and grace.
We believe in the forgiveness of sins,
And the resurrection of the body for all believers at Christ’s return.
